Pianist Chris Reynolds
Pianist Chris Reynolds has been described as playing with “ jaw-dropping virtuosity” by Opera News. Chris currently serves on the artistic staff of Deutsche Oper Berlin and has performed at Lincoln Center, and in concert halls around the world.
This performance will feature music by Paul Hindemith, featuring “The Four Temperaments”. Also featured is a group of our region’s most talented young pianists, who will literally play “musical chairs” as they trade piano benches in a masterful performance of Camille Saint-Saëns's classic, “The Carnival of the Animals”.

One of the singular, titanic works in music comes to our stage with a moving performance of Gustav Mahler’s majestic Symphony No. 5. Come hear why Mahler’s grand, yet incredibly human, musical expression has featured prominently in recent films.
This concert is dedicated to Concertmaster Michael Emery and Assistant Principal Viola Stephani Emery, in commemoration of their decades of artistic service to the orchestra.

Glens Falls Symphony Schubert #5 and Eliot Fisk
The last direct guitar disciple of Spanish guitar virtuoso Andrés Segovia, Eliot Fisk is one of he world’s most acclaimed classical guitarists. This concert will feature Mr. Fisk with the Glens Falls Symphony in music by Joaquín Rodrigo. ALSO on the program, “Sinfonia Brevis” by Michael Gandolfi with the composer in residence, and Schubert Symphony No. 5.

Performances underwritten by the Charles R. Wood Foundation, the Glenn and Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation, The Cloudsplitter Foundation, The NYS Department of Education - Facilitated by the Office of NY Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, and the New York State Council on the Arts.
The 2024 performance will feature Sergei Prokofiev’s beloved “Peter and the Wolf” at Hudson Falls High School and at the Ticonderoga Junior Senior High School.

Holiday Pops 2024
Join the beloved tradition of “Holiday Pops!” with special selections from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker,” ballet, performed by dancers from Saratoga Springs Youth Ballet.
